The
Hellerwork
Series
|
|
The
series consists of eleven sections, each of which covers a specific region
of the body. The body map covered in the section will be tailored to the
needs, including structural patterns, injuries and pains of each client.
Each section's theme reflects the mind-body connection as is designed
to help you recognize patterns in yourself so that you have choice for
new balance and alignment. In combination, the session's create overall
balance and alignment.

Section
1 - Inspiration
Goal:
to improve breath capacity and align the ribs over the pelvis. Also,
evaluate movement patterns of sitting and standing. This session
includes work on the neck, shoulders, chest, ribs and sides, and
explores what brings jo and expression in your life.

Section
2
- Standing on Your Own 2 Feet
Goal:
align the arches of the feel and legs so that they provide a better
foundation of support for the rest of the body. This session includes
work on the arches, feet, ankles and front and back of the legs
and thighs.

Section
3 - Reaching Out
Goal:
provide better
alignment through the sides of the body, so the feet and legs support
the pelvis, the pelvis supports the ribs, and the ribs support the
shoulders and neck. The arms, shoulders and sides are attended to
here, and dialogue explores how your body holds the way you interact
with the world.

Section
4 - Resistance and Acceptance
Goal:
support the core of the body from the insides of the feet and legs
and pelvic floor. The session includes bodywork on the inside of
the legs up to their attachments on the pelvis and on the sacrum,
and helps you discover unconscious tensions.

Section
5 - Instincts and Intuition
Goal:
release core issues in the front of the body, including the psoas,.
This improves alignment of the pelvis and increase support for the
body above the legs. The front of the body, from thighs to neck
is included in this session.

Section
6 - Holding Back
Goal:
release holding of deep back tissues to reduce compression of the
spine and improve verticality. Also, allow flexibility of movement
in individual spine segments. The back of the body, from heels to
shoulders, is covered. Dialogue explores how holding back in life
is reflected in your back.

Section
7 - Mind and Matter
Goal:
align the neck and head so that they are supported by and integrated
with movement of the trunk. Also, relieve tension in the face and
jaw. This section is devoted to the neck, face, jaw and skull, and
the relationship between mind and body.

Section
8 - Yin (The Feminine)
Goal:
reduce rotations in the legs and pelvis. Integrate structure, function
and movement between sleeve and core tissues. Improve balance from
the ground up. This section revisits the feet, legs and pelvis.

Section
9
- Yang ( The Masculine)
Goal:
reduce rotations in the trunk, arms and neck. Practice movement
using the whole body. This session is especially helpful for those
with thoracic outlet or carpal tunnel syndrome, since it concentrates
on relieving tightness in the arms and shoulders.

Section
10 - Integration
Goal:
balance the body all the way around. Provide the greatest ability
for movement without strain by aligning the body within gravity.
This session concentrates on the body's joints, ankles, knees, hips,
spine, shoulders, wrists.

11 - Coming Out
Goal:
provide what is needed so that the client can incorporate the series
into her life and achieve lasting results. This session concentrates
on dialogue and movement and may or may not include bodywork.
